  • he must be sleeping (90% sure)
  • he could (might) be sleeping (50-60% sure)

• must have: 実際には must've -> musta, mustav のように聞こえる
  • He must have worked late 過去の事: not sure
  • American rithm: syllable
  • He must work late と He musta worked late は同じようなリズムで言いたいので he must have worked late とはならず、縮まる
  • 下記はすべて同じリズム(3音節)で言う例

  • I can't go: ツー　ツーー　ツー (can't が微妙に長い) t はほとんど発音されない。ネイティブでもよく聞き直す例
